Teledyne DALSA’s IC-48-36200-00-R backside, multispectral TDI image sensor consists of three dies mounted into one common composite package and with PCBs incorporated. Each die's imaging regions combine four spectral bands with an additional panchromatic band for unprecedented insight in earth observation applications.
This provides a very long and effective focal plane of 25 cm. With a horizontal resolution ≥ 9,216 (B1-B4 individual spectral bands) and ≥ 36,864 (P panchromatic band) between the three dies, the 25MHz data rate achieves 30kHz P band line rate. The image sensor is fabricated with a backside illuminated CCD technology to produce high quantum efficiency excellent imagery with 28μm x 28μm (B1-B4) pixels and 7μm x 7μm (P) pixels.
The B1-B4 spectral bands use 28μm x 28μm pixels to maximize spectral sensitivity while the P panchromatic ban uses 7μm x 7μm pixels to maximize spatial resolution. The combined result provides truly exceptional images.
The device provides selectable numbers of TDI stages (up to 128 in P panchromatic band and up to 64 in B spectral bands).
