CCD270-04 is one of the family known as CCD Bruyeres in honor of Teledyne e2v’s Jean-Francois Bruyères, a long serving and highly respected colleague in the field of space imaging. Arrays of these sensors comprise the focal plane arrays of the 26 telescopes being supplied for ESA’s PLATO exoplanet hunting mission.
